Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of travelpaylab.com (the "site"), operated by TravelPayLab ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. What the site is
The site provides general educational information and a free calculation tool about pay and taxation for travel therapy and allied health professionals in the United States. It is published for general information only.
2. No professional relationship and no advice
Nothing on the site is tax, legal, accounting, investment, employment or financial advice, and using the site does not create a professional or advisory relationship of any kind between you and us. We are not a certified public accountant, enrolled agent, tax preparer, attorney, financial adviser, broker or staffing agency.
The calculator produces estimates from the figures you enter and from published tax parameters. It does not account for your full circumstances and its output is not a tax computation, a tax return, a projection you should rely on, or a substitute for professional advice. 3. Permitted use
You may read, use and share the site for your own personal or internal professional purposes. You may link to any page, and you may quote short extracts with attribution and a link.
You may not:
- republish substantial portions of the content, or reproduce whole articles, without written permission;
- scrape, harvest or systematically extract content or data from the site, including by automated means;
- present the calculator or its outputs as your own, or embed it in a commercial product, without written permission;
- use the site in a way that interferes with its operation or security, or that breaches any applicable law;
- use content from the site to market or sell staffing services in a way that implies our endorsement.
The 2026 tax parameter file is published openly so that our arithmetic can be checked. Checking, discussing and citing it is encouraged. Wholesale copying of it into a competing product is not.
4. Intellectual property
All content on the site — text, design, code, tables and calculations — is owned by us or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other applicable rights, except where it consists of material published by government bodies (such as IRS, GSA and BLS publications), which remains subject to its own terms. The TravelPayLab name and logo are ours.
5. Accuracy and changes
We take accuracy seriously and cite our sources, but tax law, per diem rates and wage data change, and errors are possible. We may add, change, correct or remove any part of the site at any time without notice, and we may discontinue the site entirely. If you find an error, please tell us.
6. Third-party links and advertising
The site links to third-party websites and displays third-party advertising. We do not control, endorse or take responsibility for third-party content, products, services or data practices, including those of any advertiser whose ad appears on a page. The appearance of an advertisement is not a recommendation. Any dealings you have with a third party are between you and that third party.
7. No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any calculation or statement on it is complete, current or correct for your situation.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any loss or damage — including any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary loss, loss of profits, loss of income, tax liability, penalty, interest, or lost opportunity — arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the site or anything on it, whether based in contract, tort, statute or otherwise, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such loss.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, liability, loss or expense arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.
10. Privacy
Our handling of data is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. These terms, together with the privacy policy and disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and us concerning the site.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights available to you under the law of your country of residence.
